ACSD to Bring Resources to Educators in the Philippines
An experienced educator and school administrator, Nydia Magdaleno-Gonzalez is the CEO of NMM Educational Consulting in El Paso, Texas. Engaged in her field, Nydia Magdaleno-Gonzalez belongs to a number of education-related professional organizations, including the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD).
In October 2017, ASCD rolled out a new initiative that will see educators in the Philippines get access to the same training materials as their counterparts in the United States and other countries where ASCD tools are available. The organization will partner with REX Book Store, Inc., as its supplier of award-winning researched-backed materials and services in supporting classroom educators in their goal of developing the whole child.
In her comments, ASCD CEO Deborah Delisle expressed excitement at the opportunity to partner with REX to bring the organization’s materials to the Philippines, which will not only benefit teachers, but also the students who will be educated by instructors who will now have access to cutting-edge learning resources.
